Goodbye Rafa!

Thanks for all your services and commitment throughout the years. I know that LFC can't give you the necessary financial budget to spend, and I know they gave you false hope. I won't blame you for Robbie Keane's departure but I will always remember how you brought Xabi Alonso to this club and how you transformed him to be one of the best players in his position. I will also certainly remember how your decisions made Xabi forced his way out of the club he loved to Real Madrid. I will always wonder why you substituted Torres when there's still time to grab a point or 3 points. Sometime I just dunno what is going in ur head. I'm sure Stevie G would agree to this statement cuz everytime Torres was sub-ed during important games, Gerrard would scratch the back of his head in disbelief.

I will remember the Champions League Final 2005 forever, how we defied all odds to win it! I will remember how we made the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Man Utd and even Barcelona look like kids on the pitch. But it's all gone wrong for you, Rafa! Zonal marking is predictable, the qualities in certain players you brought in are predictable. However, how well some players did after leaving LFC was unpredictable. Look at Bellamy, Keane, Crouchy, Cisse and even Hyypia. One most important thing that is unpredictable is you, Rafa. Sometimes it seems like u got it all right, all spot on. Sometimes it's all wrong!

It's ok Rafa, I forgive you. We are all humans, and you are not Jose Mourinho. I will remember you for all the successes you brought to us, and I hope you will bring away the LFC culture with you. Everything done is for the benefits of us, the supporters and the club. I wish you a great farewell, Rafael Benitez.
